New Works


Recently PDNB Gallery has added photographs by the Cuban American artist, Mario Algaze (b. 1947, Havana, Cuba) to its inventory.

Algaze has spent his photographic career traveling to Latin American countries searching for images of his lost homeland. The result of this search are beautiful black and white images that emphasize the enigmatic social landscape of Latin America.

Artist News + Exhibitions

·Misty Keasler was recently nominated for the ICP Young Photographer Award. The International Center of Photography presents its annual Infinity Awards each spring. Recent Young Photographer recipients were (2007) Ryan McGinley, (2006) Ahmet Polat, and (2005) Tomás Munita. www.icp.org

·Exhibitions are scheduled for Bill Owens in Milan, Italy and Bristol, UK this winter. He also has two books coming out in 2008, a retrospective monograph and a re-issue of his 1970's book, WORKING. PDNB Gallery exhibited his Working series in 2006.

·David Graham had a solo exhibition at the Silver Eye Center for Photography in Pittsburgh, PA in February. This year Pond Press will release a new monograph of Graham's recent photographs, Almost Paradise.
