“I Will Never Forget You presents for the first time the joint creative output of Frida Kahlo and photographer Nickolas Muray, friends and lovers during the 1930s and 1940s. Their relationship is explored here in a series of lush color and duotone portraits taken of Kahlo by Muray and accompanied by excerpts from the compelling correspondence between the two. Dr. Salomon Grimberg draws upon these letters, placing them in both a historical and biographical context. In the tradition of Kahlo’s iconic self portraits, the plates contained herein vividly capture the passionate character of the twentieth century’s best-known painter.”
